  • The HKAA service booking e-platform voucher cannot be used for boarding the bus. Please redeem the bus ticket as follows: Please download the Citybus “HK Sightseeing” mobile app from App Store or Google Play Store. Redeem your ticket in “My pass” section in “HK Sightseeing” mobile app by using the in-app camera to scan the HKAA service booking e-platform Redemption QR code shown on the confirmation email, or import the HKAA service booking e-platform Redemption QR code shown on the confirmation email from photo library (or enter the 20-digit Redemption code manually into the application). Your ticket will be stored electronically in the app after redemption. 

  • Please present the in-app Boarding QR code to the scanner of blue electronic payment device on the bus for validation. 

  • HK Dayrider – 24 / 48 / 72 Hours Route Coverage: Passengers are eligible to ride on all Citybus regular routes, joint-operated routes cross-harbour routes (only on Citybus-operated trips), overnight routes, special routes, racecourse routes, border routes B3 series, B7 and B8 and recreational routes, All Cityflyer airport and Lantau bus routes, HZMB bus routes and Disneyland bus route R8 (only on Citybus-operated trips).  

  • Ticket holders can enjoy priority boarding for Route H1, H1S, H2K, H3 at the Central (Star Ferry Pier) Terminus. Please notify our staff before queuing for further arrangements. 

  • Passengers who wish to enjoy the priority boarding at Central (Star Ferry) Bus Terminus must ensure that their ticket has not expired or been activated when boarding. Otherwise, Citybus reserves the right to refuse the passenger boarding.  

  • Each participant will have their own unique activation code for redemption purpose. 

  • Redemption QR Code(s) are valid for use by the bearer only and cannot be transferred, sold or shared. 

  • Please do not copy or modify this Redemption QR code in any way, otherwise the redemption will be forfeited. 

  • Damaged or lost Redemption code(s) in this confirmation will not be re-issued. 

  • Tickets cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded. 

  • Each adult passenger can travel with up to two children under four years old who do not occupy a seat for free. 

  • Citybus reserves the right to terminate or vary the discount offer and/or amend these terms at any time. 

  • Citybus has the absolute right to make changes to service hours, frequency, routes and bus stop locations at any time due to traffic, weather or other factors without prior notice. Citybus will not be responsible for compensation or assume any liability for any relevant losses suffered by passengers due to the above reasons or other reasons. 

  • If the open-top sightseeing bus is not available for use because of, inter alia, parts failures or adverse weather conditions, Citybus reserves the right to substitute another non open-top bus to continue the journey. Citybus also has the sole discretion to vary, without prior notice, the service hours, frequency, route and bus stop locations taking into account traffic conditions, weather conditions or any other factors. Citybus shall not accept any responsibility or be liable to ticket holders for any damages or losses caused by or arisen out of the aforesaid or due to any other reasons whatsoever. 

  • Please ensure that the device you are using for the e-ticket has internet access. If you are unable to present your e-ticket due to lack of internet access, you will not be able to board the bus and this could not be a reason for requesting a refund.
